This was the time when the need and importance of music was initiated by the Gems of Nashik , Late Mr. & Mrs. Trivedi .
The Silver Jubilee happened to be in the year 1957. The revolutionary year since the beginning was 1957 as the victories of VSV flew high and set a standard for the rest of the world. On the very same day the AKHIL BHARATIYA GANDHARVA MAHAVIDHYALAYA MANDAL Recognized VSV and we got our Examination Centre for Classical Music.
In 1967 one of the brother of Late. Prafullata Khaty, Late Shrikant .B. Trivedi also accompanied and took over the administration of VSV.Late Shrikant. B. Trivedi was an Engineer by profession. He was 'Visharad' in 'Tabla'. Learning Tabla from him would feel like learning the Sense of Rhythm in a different world.
The year 1982 was the year to celebrate the 50 years of glory to which VSV deserved. The precious celebrations were done for Three days. Each day was a dream come to true and a proof that the vision was accomplished.
Amruta Khaty, daughter of Late Prafullata Khaty is the living legend of VSV. She learnt Music since she was a child and she herself started teaching Hindustani Classical Music and Light Music since 2003. She is a post graduate in MBA (FINANCE), Sangeet Alankaar and she's pursuing her M.A Music. She took over the administration in 2016 after the death of Late. Prafullata Khaty.
Along with the Classes in the Institute another branch had started in 2005 at the residence of Late. Prafullata Khaty and Amruta Khaty on every Saturday and Sunday. These classes were especially conducted for people who dream to learn music but couldn't spend much time for the same like housewives and working women, etc. This is the proof that the aim of VSV is a success.
In 2010,VSV got it's center for Sugam Sangeet (Light Music) And Examinations from Praarambhik to Visharad are conducted in the months of January/February and August/September of every year along with the Examinations of Hindustani Classical Music.
